This project is about demogaphic ageing. In the future Dutch elderly are obliged to live in the urban areas of the country, opposed of what they would prefer. Vertical allotments / kitchen gardens on blank walls could bring a translation of rural live into the heart of the city. By using (existing) facade elevators people can move in their garden. The garden I designed is located on the quiet backside of a big shopping mall.
